MAVERICK X — Launch

What We Built
  • Our second game: an open-world, third-person browser game built in Three.js, playable on desktop and mobile with no install.
  • Third-person on-foot movement with sprint, plus mobile touch controls and gyroscope/motion-look support.
  • A procedurally generated city to explore, with drivable vehicles that take visible crash damage over time.
  • A mission system, shops you can buy from, a backpack/inventory, and a fists-first combat system with combo punches.
  • A full HUD: minimap, money counter, weapon and backpack indicators, speedometer, and a settings menu with dedicated Controls and Game help tabs.
What We're Working On Next
  • Expanding the city and adding more mission variety.
  • Continuing to refine mobile controls and performance.

ASH AGAIN — Development Update #1: Launch

What We Built
  • Core one-tap flying gameplay: flap through pillar gaps, with speed and spawn rate that scale up as your score climbs.
  • A ten-chapter story system narrated by Ash, the Keeper, with named chapters and an endless "eternal" progression for scores beyond chapter ten, capped at level 800.
  • Six rotating visual terrains (Deep Blue, Forest, Moonlight, Crimson, Violet Dusk, Amber) that cycle as you play.
  • A full cosmetic wardrobe — phoenix skins, hats, and tattoos across common, epic, and legendary tiers — unlocked entirely with coins earned from play.
  • A global leaderboard backed by Firebase, plus a fully synthesized in-browser sound engine for effects and a licensed background track.
  • Mobile support with touch controls and a responsive layout.
What We're Working On Next
  • Expanding the site with dedicated pages for game information, how-to-play guidance, and a proper development log (this page).
  • Improving discoverability and navigation across the site.
  • Planning our second game.
