MAVERICK X

A GTA-style open world you can drive, fight, and explore — built entirely in the browser, no install required.

What it is

MAVERICK X drops you into a procedurally generated city that you can explore on foot or behind the wheel. It's rendered with Three.js and WebGL directly in your browser tab, with full mobile support: an on-screen joystick for movement and an optional gyroscope look mode for steering your view by tilting your device.

Driving & combat

Walk up to any vehicle and press E to get in. While driving, a speedometer and damage meter track on the HUD, and reckless driving visibly adds up on that damage meter over time. On foot, you start with fists only — attacks chain into a combo with a stronger finishing hit.

Missions & shops

Mission markers are scattered around the city; press E at one to pick it up, and the active mission's title tracks on screen. Shop vendor NPCs sell items, including food that restores your hunger meter — let it run out and it starts draining your health instead.

Where development stands

MAVERICK X is currently in its first development phase, covering the open world, roads, buildings, the third-person controller, and the core HUD. Expect it to keep growing — expanding the city and mission variety, and refining mobile controls and performance, are both actively in progress.
